Both methods offer options for the format and specifics of the data downloaded.

Method 1: Multi-Select Patients Menu

For those needing to download data for multiple patients at once, the multi-select patients menu is a highly efficient tool.

  1. Navigate to the Patients app.
  2. Locate the Checkbox button above the list of patients, situated under the search bar. This is the multi-select button.
  3. Upon pressing this button, a "Select All" option appears, allowing for the selection of all listed patients or manually selecting individual patients you wish to include.
  4. Once you start selecting patients, a download button will appear.
  5. The patient data will be downloaded in an XLSX file format, which includes multiple workbooks for various data types and tables, providing a comprehensive dataset for the selected patients.

Method 2: Individual Patient File

For more detailed or specific patient data, downloading directly from an individual patient's file is the best approach.

  1. Go to the Patients app and navigate to the individual patient's file you are interested in.
  2. At the top of the patient's file, above the blue circle with their name and to the right of the flag button, locate the download button.
  3. Upon selection, you will be prompted to choose which types of information you wish to download:
    • Encounters
    • Notes
    • Eligibility
    • Claims
    • Claim Status
    • Medical History
  4. After selecting the desired information, choose the format for the download: XLSX or PDF.
    • The XLSX format is structured with multiple workbooks, catering to the various data types.
    • Choosing PDF might take a bit longer for the download to complete, as reports are generated in this format, offering a more visual presentation of the patient's data.
