Downloading Claims Data
The Claims app offers various methods to download claims data, catering to different needs and preferences. Whether you require comprehensive reports, detailed claims analysis, or specific batch information, the process is streamlined for user convenience. Here’s how to access and download the claims data you need.
Using the Reports App
- Access Reports: Navigate to the Reports app found in the tools dropdown of the Claims app. This section is dedicated to generating various reports.
- Generate Reports: You have the option to create reports based on demographics, ICD-10 codes, procedure codes, or accounts receivable. This functionality allows for broad data analysis based on key billing and patient criteria.
Claims Table for Detailed Data
- Navigate to Claims Table: For more granular data, the Claims Table within the tools section offers advanced filtering and search capabilities. This feature is ideal for users needing to narrow down data to specific claims details.
- Download Data: Once you’ve filtered or searched for the desired data, click the download button above the table. Your data will be downloaded as an XLSX file, providing a structured and detailed dataset for your analysis.
Downloading Batch Data
- Select a Batch: In the claims list on the left, select the batch you're interested in. This will open a popup with batch details.
- Batch Download: At the top left of the batch popup, there is a download button. Clicking this will download all the data associated with that batch in an XLSX format, giving you a comprehensive view of the batch's claims.
Downloading Individual Claim Data
- Open Claim Popup: For each claim, there’s a dedicated popup that can be accessed by selecting the claim. Within this popup, you'll find a download button.
- Select Format: Upon pressing the download button, you’ll be prompted to select the format for your download: XLSX, PDF, or CMS-1500. Choose the one that best fits your needs.
- Download: Complete the process to obtain your claim data in the selected format, whether for individual analysis, reporting, or submission purposes.
Best Practices
- Utilize Reports for Overview: Use the Reports app for an overview of claims data across different dimensions. This is particularly useful for periodic reporting and analysis.
- Leverage Claims Table for Specifics: When needing specific claim details or conducting a detailed analysis, the Claims Table’s advanced search and filter capabilities will be invaluable.
- Manage Batches and Individual Claims Efficiently: Downloading data by batch or individual claim allows for focused analysis and reporting on specific sets of claims or individual patient encounters.
